What's in High Tide?
Nine ingredients: dehydrated beef liver, green-lipped mussel, chickpea flour, coconut glycerin, sunflower oil, turmeric, black pepper, vitamin E and rosemary extract. That's the whole list. See what each one is for.
Is High Tide natural?
Yes. High Tide meets AAFCO's definition of natural.
Why beef liver first?
It's the main event. Beef liver gives High Tide its rich, meaty flavor, so it goes first on the list.
Does High Tide contain any common allergens?
High Tide contains beef, shellfish (green-lipped mussel) and chickpea. If your dog has food allergies or sensitivities, check with your vet before trying a new treat.
How many treats a day?
It depends on your dog's size:
- Up to 75 lbs: 1 treat per day. One tin lasts about a month.
- Over 75 lbs: 2 treats per day. One tin lasts about two weeks.
How should I store it, and how long does it last?
Unopened: about 6 months (anywhere from 4 to 9, depending on how it's stored).
Once opened: about 4 weeks.
- Keep it cool, dry and dark. A cabinet is perfect.
- Avoid heat and moisture. Keep the tin away from stoves, dishwashers, sinks, other appliances that give off heat, and direct sunlight.
- Seal it tightly. Close the lid after every use, and reach in with dry hands.
- Leave the packet in. Keep the food-grade desiccant or oxygen absorber packet inside the tin.
How much comes in a tin?
Each tin holds 30 treats, about 3.5 grams each (roughly 105 g, or 3.7 oz, in total).
